Reviews and Ratings
I just had a stay at this hotel that was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a bit small and stuffy, not exactly a clean freak's paradise, but they did come equipped with all the essentials, and after I brought up an issue with the A/C, it was promptly taken care of. The service was reasonably good, with staff available 24/7 at the parking lot across the hotel, which was convenient for my late-night arrivals. The location was truly a highlight, near everything in Montreal, making it easy for me to get around to the conference venue and other attractions. The dining experience left much to be desired, with low-quality options and a rather noisy air conditioning system. On the other hand, the facilities were decent overall.
The hotel's location is perfect, walking distance to old Montreal, the port, Notra Dam Bascillica, and other places of interest. The rooms, however, were not clean and had a strong deodorant smell, causing severe allergies. The service was friendly but a bit cold. The dining experience was miserable with limited and stale options. The facilities were average.
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's fantastic location, close to all the activities I wanted to do, and the friendly and helpful service I received. However, my room experience was a bit of a rollercoaster with temperature issues and misinformation about the room size and amenities.
The hotel had good wifi, which was important for me to catch up on work in the evenings, and it never smelled bad. However, the rooms were not cleaned or vacuumed, and there was no washroom cleaning at all. From my experience, the temperature was too hot at times.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, close to the subway and convenient for exploring Montreal, but the room I was given in the basement was not ideal. The service was friendly, but the constant reminder to be quiet after 10:00 pm was a bit off-putting. The dining experience was minimal, offering basic options like toast and jam. Despite these setbacks, the hotel had its charms.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were relatively quiet despite the loud engine sound above the bed, and I had to improvise with the air conditioning being too cold by opening the window. The price was fair for what I got.
